When close to the Core, it will only use its weaker Core Attack, and when far away it will use two types of Magic attacks. Meteor Parasite Attack Phases Meteor Parasite Abilities and Attack Patterns Phase 1 Stream Core (Body) The gatling attack is used once everytime the core uses it's exploding attack twice so it is safe to approach the core on every alternate attack from the meteor parasite. Stay from a distance and use magic attacks to hit the core. If you stay near the center, more bullets will hit you which can potentially take a huge chunk of your health. In this Phase, the Meteor Parasite will use its Gatling attack, which fires a wave of blue bullets across the field. In particular, after the core draws in, it will use its Slicer laser beam attack, which can only be avoided by hiding on the dunes present on the battlefield. The strategy does not vary significantly from Phase 1, but the Meteor Parasite will start using attacks with a wider range, so stay cautious. Phase 2: Watch out for its wide-range attacks The attacks of the core itself are weak, so as long as you avoid counterattacks and the tentacles while approaching, you'll be in the clear. The most efficient way to dish out damage on the Meteor Parasite is to hit the core, a long tendril which expands out of its body. Other Spells will deal only minor damage to the Tentacles, and can be safely avoided. The effect of each Spell on each Tentacle varies depending on its color. These Spells will allow you to knock out the Tentacles while simultaneously hitting the Meteor Parasite, so you can go all-in with these. That said, if you're able to use the -ga tier of Spells like Firaga, that's another story. You might take some hits, which can inflict Poison, so be sure to have Clear ready. If you try to handle both of them, you won't have any time to attack Meteor Parasite, so you're forced to leave them be to some extent.
